Judy Diane Minton Hamrick

Judy Diane Minton Hamrick, 69, Milligan College, died Friday, September 7, 2007, in the Life Care Center, Gray.

A native of Washington County, she was a daughter of the late Floyd Frank and Juanita Leach Minton. She was a 1956 Graduate of Science Hill High School and attended East Tennessee State College.

She was a retired employee of Pizza Inn, Johnson City, where she received several awards from the Pizza Inn Corporation. She loved to sew and to crochet and was a lover of animals. Mrs. Hamrick attended the Wesley Memorial Untied Methodist Church.

Survivors include a Daughter & Son-In-Law: Becky & David Estep, Johnson City; A Son & Daughter-In-Law: Ben & Lisa Hamrick, Jonesborough; Three Grandsons: Christopher Benjamin Estep, Jonathan Benjamin Hamrick and Zachary James Hamrick; A Sister & Brother-in-Law: Janice & Elmer Bailey, Johnson City; A Honorary Brother: Clifford B. Leach, of California; A Nephew & his wife: Dr. Joe C. & Cindy Bailey, Johnson City.

A Service to Celebrate the life of Judy Diane Minton Hamrick will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Janice Robertson officiating. Music will be provided by Julie Cardwell, David Estep & Kim Lundin. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Good News Animal Clinic, 1355 Milligan Highway, Johnson City, Tn. 37601. Friends may also call at the residence of the son & daughter-in-law: Ben & Lisa Hamrick, 897 Hairetown Road, Jonesborough. It was her wish to be cremated.
